About Us


Amazability, Inc. is producing the Adept1, a high productivity natural language speech based product. We intend to be the leading provider of applications designed for speech operation. Amazability, Inc., by incorporating all functionality within the Adept1, provides the most economical information access:
  • For persons with visual impairment and other disabilities requiring enhanced accessibility, and
  • For persons who are "eyes and hands-busy" and who require access to voice applications
The founders, leveraging their expertise in human machine interaction and speech technology, have incorporated their applications, command and control technology, and voice presentation middleware, to implement the Adept1. It is an easy to use reading and writing tool, multi-part document reader, and online Internet access product.

Some of the functionality of the Adept1 has been developed under grants from the United States Department of Education, National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research. The research grants are entitled More Accurate Voice Control Systems for the Disabled Using Improved Speech Recognition and Natural Language Speech Access of Computers by the Disabled.

The Company has also collaborated with The Speech Consortium of Carnegie Mellon University , The Center for Natural Language Processing, Syracuse University, and The Carroll Center for the Blind, Newton, MA.
